Welcome to the Prescott Area Artist Studio Tour to be held October 4-6, 2019. This will be my 6th year participating in this great event. This is a wonderful opportunity to see artists’ in their natural habitat, except for me. I will be setting up a studio for the weekend in downtown Prescott, at 105 S. Granite Street, right behind The Frame & I. There is limited parking on the street, however, the Granite Street Parking Garage is close by. During this year’s tour, I will feature new work created over the recent summer months. For the past few months, I have focused most of my attention on plein air painting. This means I am painting on location. Most of these paintings are Prescott subjects that you may easily recognize. See the last blog post for a little about these plein air adventures. At the Studio Tour, you can watch and ask questions as I demonstrate oil painting. Enjoy refreshments and check out my annual “inventory reduction sale” to clear out space in my studio.
