Camping at Bear Canon Lake, AZ

Kayaking Bear Canyon Lake, had the lake to boat to ourselves, probably because it’s a .25 mile hike down a steep trail to the lake. Who wants to carry a boat that far… just me, I guess.

Skyler’s first time camping in Arizona, sampling the soil.

Our little camp, enjoyed the cool temps on the Mogollon Rim. This campground was just emptying out when we arrived on Sunday, it can get quite popular during summer months. I hope to come back during the fall again when it won’t be so busy.

An evening hike.

Skyler likes to hike too, insists on walking and stomping on/over rocks and logs.

A mossy tree, could have been in Washington State.

Explored more the lake on our last day, much prefer this vantage point with flat land next to the lake.

Coming back in the fall to see the Aspen trees change color.

Another mossy scene that could be something in Washington.
