My wife Denise and I decided to spend the Sunday afternoon and evening at the Grand Canyon and witness the annular eclipse at the same time. We chose Shoshone Point as our vantage point, thinking we would have it to ourselves. Not so, people trickled in as the time neared 6:00. The eclipse started around 5:45 and continued until after 7:00. I posted five photos of it’s progression during that time frame. We watched the rest of the sunset from a lookout point between Mather Point and the Kaibab Trail. A quick trip, four hours of driving for five hours spent at the Grand Canyon. It was worth it!
